The name Nahla means 'honeybee' in Arabic; the couple chose the exotic moniker just before their departure from the hospital after Berry and Aubry opted to meet their baby before giving her a name. Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry opted not to sell their first baby pictures to a magazine, departing from a trend seen with other celebrity moms like Angelina Jolie, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Camila Alves, Jessica Alba, and Anna Nicole Smith.
