Interactive Musical Tables

Parents take note: Dining at Fumiaki Goto’s music dining table will not be quiet and peaceful; the table may, in fact, induce inadvertent fits and feats of percussion at the table.

This unique wooden table is constructed just like a marimba, emitting tones that correspond to different parts of the tabletop when struck. That means that every item that comes in contact with the table, from wineglasses to forks, knives, fists and tumblers, are equally equipped to be marimba mallets.
