Unless you’re a follower of the hit show Weeds, it probably comes as a surprise to learn that marijuana is perfectly legal in California as long as the vendor’s are licensed to dispense the herbal drug to patients with a prescription.
As part of the macro-trend of hyperlocalization (that’s local-focused online content) it’s no surprise then that there is now a google mashup for pot vendors called the Potlocator.com.
You type in your zip code and it produces a map with color-coded pot leaves. The purple leaf is a mystery however. I imagine maybe the programmers got a little too high to finish off the website. But see for yourself.
There is also a gallery featuring the numerous types of marijuana available as well as pot-laden products, like pot Froot Loops. Who knew?
