Tools Made of Money

Coin Sculptures by Stacey Lee Webber

Instead of stashing her relatively useless pennies in a jar in the closet, Stacey Lee Webber is creating sculptures from them.

In this collection, titled “The Craftsmen Series,” Webber has formed her coins into antique looking hammers, saws and screwdrivers. The details are amazing; check out the saw blade, I think it would actually cut wood.

Stacey Lee has a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and currently resides in Chicago.
