Those familiar with classic Americana will no doubt recognize the inspiration behind the Kempart loft. (It's the Airstream trailer, for those who aren't a fan of classic Americana). The loft was built in the city of Liege, Belgium, by the firm Dethier Architectures. The pod itself is essentially a functional partition. It contains two bathrooms, heating and ventilation equipment and can be used for storage.
The partition in the Kempart Loft separates the bedroom from the living room, with the side facing the living room coming complete with a built-in flatscreen TV. Whereas the interior of the loft is colored in varying hues of gray, the inside of the partition is wonderfully colorful, with artist Jean Glibert decorating the bathrooms in bright green and orange.
