Last night in France hundreds of celebrities strutted their stuff down the red carpet for the 66th 2013 Cannes film festival. Dressed in opulent, extravagant and luxurious tailor made designer gowns, celebrities hit the French seaside ready to show off their glitzy Great Gatsby-inspired styles and enjoy some great cinematography at the 2013 Cannes film festival.
While 20s inspired fashion has had a huge cultural revival with the release of The Great Gatsby, many celebs were clearly inspired by Daisy’s flapper cocktail costumes and tight curve accentuating dresses. In keeping with Gatsby theme blacks, pinks, whites and creams were all lusciously appropriate color selections that complemented well with the satin-esque fabrics of many of the gowns.
