Bird-Flavored Ice Cream

Torimi Cafe Created a Bird Ice Cream Line for People with a Curious Palate

These bird ice cream flavors from Japan will satisfy all the curiosities that a person might have about the taste of their pet birds.

The bird-flavored ice cream flavors are from the Torimi Cafe in Japan. The ice cream line consist of three bird flavors: Java Sparrow, Parakeet and Cockatiel -- one can only speculate on how the cafe shop created the flavors. The cafe team says they came up with the taste of the birds based on the type of food the birds were eating, but also adding ingredients that simulate the same sensation of actually having those types of birds in your mouth.

The ingredients made to create these ice cream flavors are all natural, according to the cafe. In a statement, the Torimi Cafe said “once in your mouth, the aroma of a parakeet would spread intensely.”
