Kotex and Smoyz Team Up in Tel Aviv to Create a Pop-Up Pinterest Store

When Kotex teamed up with Tel Aviv marketing agency Smoyz recently, they created the world's first pop-up Pinterest store. The innovative idea, dreamed up by the two social media-savvy companies saw local women line up for a chance to 'pin and win' what was contained in secret gift boxes.

The pop up store quickly gained attention and soon the scene was awash with smartphones and excited women. The ingenious idea saw the brand set up a pop-up shop, which was designed exactly like a Pinterest board. Each lady simply had to choose a box that had a sentence that inspired her written on it. The ladies then pinned the sentence to their Pinterest board and won the contents of the box.

This social media-savvy marketing technique was an ingenious way for Kotex to engage its customers and connect with them via a new form of social media.
