The broad and shallow cabin that Picomdesign came up with ensures that the vessel will not capsize. Its roof should always remain on top, leaving a set of solar panels pointed directly towards the sky. This sustainable energy generation provides power for the occupants of the lifeboat and even enables the use of a motor. The Archelon Emergency Capsule is complete with chairs, a private toilet, food rations, water, a navigation system and the ability to be linked up with others.
