Alliance for the Great Lakes Aims to Clean Up the Tourist Attraction

The Great Lakes, sandwiched between Canada and the United States, hold the largest amount of fresh water in the world; Alliance for the Great Lakes aims to keep it clean.

With global warming and constant talk of fresh water resources, one often forgets about the major tourist attraction sitting so close to our doorsteps. The lakes have unfortunately become so tainted, its not even recommended to go swimming in some of them. The organization wants to end polluting and has made a promise to clean up the water and the waterfronts of all of the Great Lakes.

Their mission is to conserve and restore freshwater, urging people to be cautious when tossing away trash or unwanted items. By educating people of the cautions, this will help empower change to keep our water beautiful.
