Watching bubble popping at 2,000 frames per second like in the video is already pretty hypnotic as it is, but things get extra crazy when they slow things down to 18,000 frames per second. To give some perspective, most movies we watch are filmed and played back at 24 frames per second to mimic real life movement. At 18,000 frames, a popping bubble slowly gets eaten away out of existence and looks like a popped water balloon.
