Word Animals is a Font Where Each Word is an Animal Shape

An amusing font for both children and adults, Word Animals are words that form an animal shape out of the letters in that animal's name. For example, an image of a crocodile is constructed using the letters in the word crocodile.

The colors also play a part in this project, simulating the classic colors associated with each animal, such as a pink flamingo and a white bunny. Words and typography become part of an art piece with a symbolism that is entertaining and playful. A precursory glance at each image shows an animal on a contrasting background, while a closer look reveals the shapes of letters that form a word.
