Robot-Written Films

A Romantic Robot Movie Scripted Entirely by Cleverbot

Directed by Chris R. Wilson, ‘Do You Love Me’ is a romantic robot film scripted by Cleverbot, one of the most advanced examples of artificial intelligence.

The short film starts as a conversation between the ‘User’ and Cleverbot, discussing the title of the film and the names of the characters. All of the dialogue, and therefore the drama, of the short were created by the AI’s responses to the director’s questions.

Showing incredible aptitude at carrying on a conversation, the robot did not always seem to realize what was happening and the dialogue would get off track and confused. There were moments when other pop culture references were made and random commentary that resulted in hilarity. This robot film is a great example of how to utilize a conversational robot.
