Social Media-Sharable Consoles

The New PlayStation Will Allow Users Share Video Over Social Media

Rumors are flying all over the Internet about the new PlayStation ever since Sony declared that some big announcements are coming on February 20.

One of the biggest changes that has been all but confirmed at this time is the addition of a share button and a touchpanel/touchscreen on the system's new controller. What will this 'share' button let you do? A lot, apparently. Since the console will be constantly recording your gameplay footage, the new PlayStation 4 (or whatever it ends up being called) will allow for instant video and screenshot sharing over social media networks like Facebook and Twitter.

This means that users can instantly share things like proof of a high score, or even interact with developers to help report bugs and glitches. It can also allow users to challenge each other via social media as well. Fans will know a whole lot more about the new PlayStation when Sony drops the bomb on February 20th.
