Winsome Wood Grain Handbags

The Woodum Tote Shou Flaunts an Exquisite and Unexpected Texture

Fabric, animal hide or the occasional straw weave are what commonly makeup women's purses, but this is not what you get with the Woodum Tote Shou from Japan. The accessory is alluring for its unconventionality, but even more so for the rich aesthetic and touchable qualities of its external surfaces.

It isn't simply that an organic woodgrain pattern has been imprinted on acrylic material, designer Takumi Shimamura actually used timber to construct these handsome handbags. Super slim wooden sheets have been gently warped into these shapes and covered with resin for strength and protection.

A fine brown thread has stitched the walnut or zebra wood to a lining of leather. The Gestalten Woodum Tote Shou has a generous interior for carrying many items, including cellphones and keys in the small zippered pocket.
