The fixture's base is the mainboard PCB board which is capped by a speaker porting ring, a power strip, a sound unit and an LED cap. The OLED-driven lighting unit connects to the device with magnets, emitting preferred levels of illumination as well as music.
The Soundbulb is controlled by means of an iPhone app so that no new media, appliances or remotes need be brought into the room in order to select songs and manage volume.
