Unrelated Doppleganger Portraits

The 'I'm not a Look-alike!' by François Brunelle is Captivat

Canadian photographer François Brunelle shows that everyone may in fact have a doppelganger.

Since 1999, the photographer has been taking pictures of duos who are spitting images of one another but are not actually related in anyway. If you didn't know any better, looking at the portrait series entitled 'I'm not a Look-alike!,' would easily dupe you into thinking this project had to do with analyzing how genes were passed on within families. However, the black and white images are to show the likely possibility that there may in fact be someone out there in the world who shares a very similar physical appearance.

As 200 photos have already been taken for the collection, François Brunelle does make one consider the fact that we may not be so different after all.
