After bringing us the awesome LINC eco-friendly smart phone concept, the Greener Grass follows it with a versatile electronic reader design for collaborative environments.

Papyrus is an inexpensive, student oriented e-reader that is specially designed with collaboration in mind. The ultra-portable device allows for on screen note taking with a stylus, as well as tagging the content.

Featuring an E Ink-based touchscreen with handwriting recognition, numerous networking functions, and a battery that lasts for a full 30 hours; Greener Grass hopes Papyrus can be manufactured for less than $100.

Although this is all just fancy concepts, I hope something similar sees the light of day soon. The current e-readers are way behind in function and design.
