The Band Of Outsiders Pre-Fall 2013 collection is a combination of loose-fit geometric business-appropriate attire and funky casualwear. Band of Outsiders creative director Scott Sternberg took inspiration for the latest collection from a trip to a light installation in Mexico. The piece was called ‘The Lightning Field’ and was centered in the desert. Sternberg drew upon this art work and went for an Aztec meets Western approach in his collection.
The line up consists of blanket/poncho style cape jackets, drop-crotch pants, loose-fitting blazers, skirts and one-piece jumpers. One fabulous head-to-toe look is an Amelia Earhart-esque pilot number with khaki harem dress pants, a plush beige sweater and a cropped brown leather jacket.
The Band of Outsiders Pre-Fall 2013 collection is impeccable and each individual piece is interchangeable.
