Many have viewed the beautiful wonders found in NASA’s photographs of planet Earth from satellites in space, and now the space company released a free downloadable ‘Earth as Art’ book and iPad App.
All the beauteous swirls, patterns and intermingling of color can now be stored on your computer with no cost. There are 75 images to be viewed that depict different vantage points of Earth from Landsat 5, Landsat 7 EO-1, Aqua and Terra satellites. The images from the space satellites are able to display things that would otherwise go unnoticed to the naked eye.
The ‘Earth as Art’ book and app is meant for viewers to experience the stunning beauty of mother Earth. Hopefully it will inspire more people to take good care of her.
