It sends this data via Bluetooth (the sensor is compatible with iOS, Android and BlackBerry) to a smartphone running the free Shockbox app.
Depending on the severity of a collision, the Shockbox Helmet Sensor will recommend whether a not a player needs to leave a game to undergo a concussion test. The app guides the user through a checklist of concussion symptoms and even offers tests for the athlete to take. The sensor can be mounted to the inside of a helmet using a bit of tape, and one app can be used to track and store data from 128 different devices.
