The AR-MAPS app will make navigation a breeze, even for the direction-impaired.

Developed by Crossfader Inc., the augmented reality maps app allows users to view the landscape in front of them through the iPhone. Along with displaying the actual map of the user's current location, the screen also displays destination tags to what landscape the camera is pointing to. In the case that one gets lost, the user can point the camera to its nearby surroundings for more directional information and can even use the app to send their current location to friends for assistance.

The user-friendly application currently supports English and Japanese and works in conjunction with all iPhone operating systems, though Crossfade Inc. is working towards other systems' compatibility as well.
