Jonathan Paul, who also goes by Desire Obtain Cherish, mixes together the worlds of high fashion and designer drugs to create a series of resin casted acrylic sculptures. Hermes, Louis Vuitton and Yves Saint Laurent all get the pharmacological treatment.

I think that Paul's work comments on how fashion and consumerism can be like a drug, or how people use drugs as readily as they change their clothes each day. Whatever the meaning, the exhibit makes you think, and that is the mark of all great art.
