Step into the world of motorcyclist fashion during the 50s and 60s with help from the Levi’s Vintage Clothing: The Biker exhibition.
As an extension to their Fall/Winter 2012 collection, Levis handed out black leather motorbike jackets to 21 eager artists from all over the world. The creative spirits were instructed to create oil paint pictures that are representative of what you might find on the back of a biker, cruising on his Harley in the 1950s. As an example, Ben Lamb from the United Kingdom decorated the jacket with a fierce African tiger. He also created another design titled ‘Golden Time of Day’ that showcased the beautiful silhouette of the setting sun.
The Levi’s exhibition is on display at the Union Square store in San Francisco.
