Liquid Light is an illusionist lamp that appears to contain a special solvent that glows.
The truth behind the illumination is that the glass carafe sits on a birch plate with a brass socket that holds a candle. The tea candle is nestled deep within the plate and blocked by the circular glass. When it is lit the light becomes magnified due to the lens of the carafe.
Whatever liquid is situated within the Liquid Lamp alters the color of the light. Giving off a soft and comforting glow that would look serene on the top of a dining table. This illuminating light was inspired by the 17th century Cobbler’s Lamp and is designed by Kristine Five Melvaer.
