The 2014 Winter Olympic Games are Prepping with Psychedelic Images

With the 2012 Summer Olympics just finishing in August, the social media team behind promoting the 2014 Winter Olympics has released four adorable pictograms which have recently become Instagram gold. Featured in the four pictograms are a sky jumper, a bob sled team, a luge competitor and a speed skating race. The patchwork detailing of the stick man figurines is inspired by the 1980 Olympic games in Moscow. The monochromatic backgrounds highlight the floral printed stick figures as they preform a winter Olympic sport.

The explosion of the 2014 Winter Olympic pictograms is a drastic change to the knitted artwork photographs released for the 2012 Summer Olympic games. The smart marketing scheme by the social media team has cleverly infected the Instagram realm, one of the most used social media sites by smartphone users.
