The Sputnik Stool and Table is a simple piece of furniture with a lot of possibilities. As its direct name gives away, it doubles as both a stool and a side table. Nevertheless, it can easily be used as a plant holder, shelf and more. The minimalist silhouette allows the furniture piece to perform various duties without looking strange and out of place while doing them.
Designed by Sputnik, a design studio based in Valencia, Italy, and run by Majo Fernández, María de la O Reyna, María Salar and Borja Sepulcre, the Sputnik Stool and Table was recently exhibited along with other pieces from their latest collection during the Habitat Valencia Fair. It is made out of lacquered steel and cork.
