Photographer, artist and art direcotr Aleph Escobedo has created the INTERTROPICO editorial, which sees fashion in a alternate, mind bending reality. The editorial will appear in Corona Borealis magazine and was styled by Carlos Soto. All fashions are modeled by Emilio de Hoyos.
Though the craziness of each image can be distracting, the fashion donned by Hoyos is quirky and wearable. Some of my favorite items throughout the spread are the nuclear bomb t-shirt and the black pants with mouth print all over them.
Most of the time we constrain our imagination by basing our thoughts in the real world. The INTERTROPICO editorial does away with this tendency and opens up art and fashion to an entirely different world.
