The Hello Kitty, Hello Art Exhibition Pays Homage to the Cute Cat

Known Gallery in Los Angeles is preparing to showcase the work of Sanrio in a show called 'Hello Kitty, Hello Art!" The show coincides with the release of a book with the same name that features 200 images of artwork crafted using a variety of mediums that all have the same underlying Hello Kitty theme.

Mediums for the show include spray paint, canvas, ink and watercolor, acrylic on wood, aerosol, mixed media, oil on silkscreen and panel. Each piece of art pays homage to all things Hello Kitty, My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Keroppi, Little Twin Stars and many more.

Artists appearing in the show include graffiti artist POSE, Adam Wallacavage, RISK, 64 Colors, AIKO Caia Koopman, Kenton Parker, Simone Legno and many more. The gallery will be open on October 14th, 2012 in LA and will also have limited edition prints and t-shirts available for purchase.

It seems that Hello Kitty is not fading out anytime soon.
