With all the hype around the meca sensual hit novel 50 Shades of Grey, Kelly Marcel is chosen as the screenwriter for the up and coming film. The British screenwriter beat out Hollywood's finest Bret Easton Ellis for the part, much to his dismay. Kelly Marcel who is a long time friend of Tom Hardy (and rumored as future Christian Grey hire) wrote the screenplay for the hit TV show, Terra Nova. Over seeing the film are Hollywood producers Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti from the blockbuster film The Social Network.
Kelly Marcel took to her Twitter to break the news to the public after an intense three month selection process by the film's producers. Ellis shortly took to his Twitter about the producers choice. His unpleasant Tweet shortly solidified Kelly Marcel as 50 Shades of Grey screenwriter.
