The Pacman Propaganda Images Comment on Public Advertisements

Joseph Baranowski's Pacman Propaganda posters are reminiscent of a stern Uncle Sam, pointing his finger and requesting that strapping young lads sign up for the army.

These posters show the famous gamer icon and his cronies boasting various political and recruiting messages. The googly-eyed ghosts are shown blown-up on a sheet of brown with the phrase "support our troops" motioning to the team of ghosts who chase after Pac-Man as well as to the army. Another image mimics the recruitment posters colleges and universities have plastered all over city bus shelters and public transit. Pac-Man is shown about to demolish a frightened ghost enemy. The title at the top of the image reads "Prepared?" and then a smaller statement below says "Ghost University."
