The Kisai Logo LCD Watch Has a Display that Needs to be Deciphered

Japanese watchmaker Tokyoflash is known for coming up with some incredibly original timepieces, and the Kisai Logo LCD watch is no exception. The watch has a stainless shell casing and trim, so it's durable and won't tarnish easily. It also features a striking mirrored display and sleek acetate strap, so it's a stylish accessory that goes well with both casual and more formal attire.

However, unless you've owned a watch from Tokyoflash in the past, you might have a little difficulty adapting to the way the watch tells time. The number of minutes are easy enough to figure out because they're always digitally displayed in number form on the watch face, but to determine the hours you need to look at the block pattern that surrounds the minutes. If you really want to get technical, there's even a hidden binary mode which requires you to analyze and count a display full of seemingly arbitrary blocks to decode the actual time.

If you think you've got the knowhow to decrypt time, or if you just like having an unusual watch as a conversation piece, the Kisai Logo LCD watch is currently available in black, white and blue finishes.
