Feathered Camera Prints

The Birds of Aperture by Paul Octavious are Stunning

Renowned photographer Paul Octavious just recently released a new series of prints this morning titled Birds of Aperture. These two prints feature old vintage cameras transformed into in-flight birds.

The first in the series is named Sawyer, a white feathered camera, and the second is titled Pilot, a large black feathered bird made from an old Pilot camera. Both prints are museum quality and made out of archival inks. Paul Octavious is including signed certificates with each prints and he claims they are "packaged with love."

These prints are a fun and whacky way of transforming old cameras, and the minimalistic approach to the birds is what Paul Octavious is known for. I like the blown-out look of the Sawyer print, because the wings blend into the blank background, but I also enjoy how intense the Pilot bird is with its large black wings.
