In House Wing, Architecture and Furniture Design are Uniquely United

The field of interior design is huge, yet few buildings demonstrate such a creative exploration of its possibilities in practice. The House Wing by AnLstudio and Heebon is a rare exception with its obvious challenge to the way that rooms are regularly treated.

The designers didn't limit themselves to the differences between the floor, the ceiling and the walls. Instead, they strove to bring each of these confining planes together with the installation of a rigid ribbon-like feature throughout the Seoul apartment.

Not purely aesthetic, the zig-zagging band integrates light fixtures up above and morphs into built-in furnishings and storage as it descends to within reach. Inspired by the airplane wing, the abstract border within the dwelling also suggests the separation of living and working spaces inside the House Wing by AnLstudio.
