L’Officiel Ukraine 'La Femme Moderne' Stars Ladylike Marinet Mat

The L’Officiel Ukraine 'La Femme Moderne' editorial is a cross between two styles: the dark goth and the modern lady. Of course, there is a dash of the femme fatale thrown into the mix to spice things up a bit. The looks are at once ladylike and grungy. The dark colors and textures speak to the latter while the tailored silhouettes and overall vibe of the outfits speak to the former.

Shot by New York-based photographer Markus Ziegler with the set design by Jessica Ennis, the L’Officiel Ukraine 'La Femme Moderne' editorial was put together for the September 2012 issue of the magazine. It stars model Marinet Matthee. The South African beauty was styled by Anna Katsanis in the likes of Chanel, Rag & Bone, Donna Karan and Dries Van Noten.
