As controversially suggestive as it gets, the Dazed & Confused September 2012 cover features American rapper, singer and lyricist Azealia Banks blowing up a pink condom without a care in the world. Looking at the camera dead-on, it is almost as thuogh she is daring her audience to say something, anything, about it. As it turns out, they did have something to say. It is currently banned in seven countries.
Shot by New York-based photographer Sharif Hamza, the Dazed & Confused September 2012 cover is pretty tame except for the naughty prop used center stage. Styled by Karen Langley, Banks is clad in a leather vest and blue short-sleeved sweatshirt. The look was perfected with blue-streaked hair and matching eyeshadow by makeup artist Lisa Houghton.
