Artist Dale Chihuly is currently exhibiting his 'Chelsea Persians' exhibit at the Marlborough Chelsea Gallery in New York City. The Washginton-born visionary is known for his detailed work with glass blown mediums, the bulk of which have been displayed at museums and specialty events throughout the world.
Chihuly's last NYC-based display was launched in 2006. His return to the region is a highly anticipated one, and his Chelsea Persians delivers just the right amount of glamor and intellect to his adoring fans.
Chihuly posits his installation as both artificial and natural as different streams of light pass through the structure, reflecting rainbow-hued beams onto the walls, floors and ceilings of the renowned Marlborough Chelsea Gallery.
