Ted Baker 'Midtown Abbey' Stunt Had Maids & Butlers Tidying Up NYC

The Ted Baker 'Midtown Abbey' campaign was launched in Manhattan this week, and judging from the reactions in this video, it definitely surprised a number of New Yorkers. Just before the opening of its 5th Avenue 'Grand House' store in New York City, the London-based fashion label Ted Baker unleashed a city clean-up initiative with maids and butlers dressed in 1920s-inspired uniforms.

The Ted Baker 'Midtown Abbey' stunt involved a fleet of maids and butlers going around Manhattan, tidying up and cleaning where they could. This included picking up litter, polishing subway poles, pouring tea for chess players, picking up ping pong balls, ironing street maps, polishing the Charging Bull sculpture on Wall Street, cleaning up dog doo-doo and more.
