Video Game Themed Cigarettes

German Ljutaev Makes Smokers Think About Game Over With Life Meter

Nowadays, smoking is becoming more of a taboo and instead of imprinting gory photos on cigarette boxes, artist German Ljutaev has decided to make a game by designing cigarettes with video game life meters on it.

This is a non-commercial product that Ljutaev designed for fun and although it's not officially being printed on cigarettes, this may be a lighter approach to remind smokers of the deadly game they've chosen to play. Each cigarette comes with a life meter and as it continues to burn, each heart withers away and at the end is an option for the user to continue or not.

As each heart burns out, the smoker is given the opportunity to continue and it's only a playful reminder until the game is over.
