The Havoysund Tourist Route Fuses Prehistoric and Modern Design Concepts

The Havoysund Tourist Route by Reiulf Ramstad Architekter is a pathway blending in with its surrounding Norwegian landscape. Inspired by the organic flow of a river, this dynamic structure spirals down a rocky coastline, leading visitors from land to the beach.

Aiming to create an experience for tourists, architect Reiulf Ramstad built a landmark that will serve as a visual attraction, allowing tourists to experience what Norway has to offer. The concrete-clad structure fuses modern and prehistoric design ideals, offering visitors with beautiful Arctic Ocean views and featuring sitting areas, fire pits, public washrooms and bike storage sheds.

Making a trip memorable, the Havoysund Tourist Route is a curved Norwegian landmark that intensifies its coastline while providing its users with a functional design.
