Since the recent release of Wes Anderson’s 'Moonrise Kindom,' a craze has started for creating and earning your own personal Hipster Merit Badges for the quirking things that happen in the every day hipster lifestyle.
Lee Meszaros is a Toronto-based online shop owner who creates these adorable Merit Badges for everyday things. There are badges for things such as: ‘tooting your own horn’, ‘quitting cold turkey’, ‘barking up the wrong tree’ and my personal favourite ‘surviving first love’.
All of her Merit Badges can be found on her Etsy page and I predict that this fad will be huge amongst the artsy hipsters or amongst any Wes Anderson film lover.
I for one, will be getting some of these badges to add to my future Halloween costume for later this year.
