The BEV Twitter Vending Machine Trades Hash Tags for Iced Tea

In the case of the BEV Twitter Vending machine you not only are what you eat, but also what you tweet.

The machine rewards thirsty Twitter enthusiasts at Cape Town's Wembley Square with a free sample of BOS Iced Tea when they Tweet the correct hash tag. At the top of the machine, a computer screen displays the hash tag you need to send out to your followers and after doing so, the machine will hand you a drink. However, you need to make sure that you are in the vicinity of the machine, which can be determined based on your Twitter apps location component.

When the Tweet is successfully registered with the machine, flashing LED lights go off and the lucky recipient's Twitter handle scrolls across the top of the screen while their beverage is delivered.
