This Dan Couto Series is Elegant and Eccentric

Toronto-based photographer Dan Couto recently shot a series titled 'NeoPrene,' an unapologetically eccentric and freaky photoshoot.

As he states on his website, he taught himself the art of photography and is currently perfecting his computer animation skills. He is doing so, he explains, because just as digital techniques have revolutionized the photography, illustration and advertising worlds, so too will cheap, high-quality computer generated imaging technology. Indeed, his work featured here is evidence of this.

Couto points out that he is able to combine imagery obtained through photographic means with imagery created by computer programs to create work that would not have been possible through either method on its own. With over 20 years of experience, working with clients across Asia, Europe and North America, Dan Couto knows what he’s talking about.
