The Charlie May Fall/Winter 2012 collection is eye-catching. The designs were crafted by young British womenswear designer Charlie May. As May was studying, she created the popular blog 'Girl a la Mode' in 2008. The popular fashion blog topped many lists and was featured in a multitude of magazines such as Elle. After debuting her line with her Spring/Summer Collection earlier this year, her second collection clearly shows that she is a designer on the rise.

This collection uses great asymmetrical shapes with a basic color palette. The designs are minimalistic, but are given depth with slits. This adds feminine quality to some of the androgynous pieces. The structured nature of each piece is not only captivating but creates an united flow throughout the collection.
