The Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 Collection Adds Some Steam

For the Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 collection, designer Marc Jacobs opted to feature the designs along side a train that captures the origin of the brand. Reading "like a love letter to the house's storied travel-luggage origins" by fashionologie, the steamy new line is classic Vuitton and gorgeously detailed.

Alongside conductors and porters carrying their classic Vuitton trunks and bags, the models walked the runway that featured an old-fashioned steam train. The novel concept played well with the designs that were of similar deep browns, blues and blacks and ultimately gave the whole show a vintage, but not dated, appeal.

Re-vamping and re-creating classics is what Louis Vuitton has been a major leader of the industry in. The classic beauty that the brand strives for has reached a steamy new level with the Louis Vuitton Fall 2012 collection.
