This amazingly huge piano, is not just a sculpture, it’s a functional building that was designed by the architecture students at the Hefei University of Technology, located in Huainan City, Anhui Province, China along with designers of the Huainan Fangkai Decoration Project Co. The building is used for local musicians and college students who are studying music to practice in. This literal building design, that resembles a classical piano, definitely makes a statement, yet embodies the purpose of the structure. The main entrance is built in the shape of a violin, and has a set of stairs that connects the two instrumental structures. At night the building's shape is outlined with mini lights; makes it impossible to miss. The Piano Building is a distinctive creation that meshes art and music, into a beautiful construction.
