Currently under construction near Shanghai in Songjiang, China, the 'Shimao Wonderland Intercontinental' by Atkins is going to be one hell of a rocky getaway experience.
Hotel dwellers will be provided with ultimate panoramic views of the ravine filled with water and rock formations. The area is currently depleted with man-made structures, but this 17-storey structure is sure to bring some rowdiness to the region. The tower stands only two storeys above ground, while the rest is embedded 80 meters deep along a rock face.
Communal facilities include a swimming pool, recreational area, conference centers and banquet halls that comfortably fit up to 1,000 people.
