Paris-based illustrator and graphic designer Sebastien Feraut, also known as NIARk1, has put together a series of prints collectively titled ‘Giclée.’ Each illustration is an explosion of crisply defined shapes rendered in vibrant, almost iridescent colors. The shapes are layered upon one another so as to produce an aesthetic reminiscent of fractal art.
Each print depicts a collage of strange, fanciful creatures stacked upon each other in the style of a totem pole. This is fitting as the illustrations are quite similar to northwestern North American Aboriginal art.
