The Virgin Galactic 'Spaceport America' is the first ever commercial spaceport.
It is constructed to look like a celestial vehicle and has been built so that visitors and personnel can enjoy the facilities. Everyone enters the building through a deep, tunnel-like channel that is dug into the land and the retaining walls provide historical facts about space travel.
Apart from being an amazing place to learn the tricks of the space trade, this building is also eco-friendly, having been designed to use wind for ventilation and natural lights via skylights. This spaceport is still under construction but once it is finished, it will definitely be on my list of places to visit. The concept behind this structure is for the growth of mankind in knowledge and experience.
