Althea Systems Shufflr Collects Online Content Based on User Preferences

The Althea Systems Shufflr app compiles user preferences to deliver and stream video content from the web to a smartphone, tablet or desktop.

Shufflr co-founder Rajnish has created an interface that compiles video from one's social networks, and generates a list of recommended content based on information garnered from past Internet usage.

The Daily Fix is the app's main feature, and it lists videos according to what's trending, social network activity and location. Each video is shown with a comment from the person who originally posted it. Videos from the specific user's social stream are displayed using The Flip Side feature, as well.

Everything from celebrity gossip, to tech updates to hard news are featured, and the app lets the user focus more on watching video content than seeking it out.
